VIDEOS
How we work,
on video
Weekly NDIS updates, disability awareness and participant-specific carer training. We show you the work instead of just describing it.
WEEKLY NDIS UPDATES
NDIS changes, explained every week
Short videos on the NDIS changes families need to know about. The videos are in Korean, with an English summary and the official source listed for each one.
Plan management changes: a 90-day claim window from 1 December
Supports delivered from 1 December must be claimed within 90 days, and an NDIA plan manager panel starts on 1 October 2027. What changes and what to do now. An English audio track is available in the player settings.
Household task price limits rise from 1 December: what about your service agreement?
From 1 December, price limits for four household support items go up (house cleaning rises from $60.10 to $64.59 an hour). Prices in an existing service agreement only change if the participant agrees.
NDIS funding reset from 1 October: what it means for your plan
New and reassessed plans will have social, economic and community participation budgets reduced by 50% and improved daily living skills budgets by 10%. Current plans do not change straight away.
DISABILITY AWARENESS
Clearing up everyday misunderstandings
Short scenes showing common mistakes people make around disability, and what to do instead. Made for families, neighbours and shop staff alike.
EP.2 Why park in a disability spot if you can walk?
Jisoo, who uses a wheelchair, is asked in a disability parking spot: “If you can walk, why are you parking here?” Some people can manage ten steps but not a hundred. You can see for a second without your glasses, but the glasses are still real. A permit means they qualify.
EP.1 Ask the person in the wheelchair, not their companion
A café worker asks the companion, not the customer in the wheelchair, what she would like. It is well meant, and it happens often. Ask the person directly.
CARER TRAINING
Turning therapy plans into everyday support
We turn the exercises and support methods set by each participant’s therapist into Korean and English guides and videos, so carers can follow them correctly.
01
Confirm the therapist’s plan
We review the program and precautions set by the participant’s physiotherapist, occupational therapist or other therapist. Therapy itself stays with the therapist.
02
Korean and English guides
We turn the plan into easy-to-follow Korean and English guides and demonstration videos for carers.
03
Train the carer
The participant’s carer is trained with the guide and video, then supports the participant the way they were shown.
The videos below are training examples shared with the consent of everyone who appears in them.
Physiotherapy home program: 7 exercises for carers
Made from one participant’s physiotherapy prescription so their carer can follow it exactly: band exercises, self-propelling the wheelchair, sit-to-stand and walking with a frame, with reps and what the carer should check at each step. This is an individual program, so please don’t follow it without your own therapist’s assessment. Video in Korean.
